CAREERS, JOBS AND LIFE-CHANGING OPPORTUNITIES
Do you want to live your best life in a company who values people for who they are?
We’re RBH, the UK’s leading hospitality management company, we’d love to hear from you.
We have a Tree of Life, which is renowned in our business. We aim for every hotel and office to gain the Gold Leaf Standard Accreditation - that's how serious we take it. You can find out more about our Giving Something Back commitments here.
Every year one in three of us will experience mental health problems. We actively encourage our people to discuss issues of mental health and will work to help people improve their mental fitness and well-being and also to access high quality help and support when it is necessary.
"I love working for RBH as they have a focus on health and wellbeing both inside and outside of work. We are encouraged to participate in activities and challenges that support the company charity or our local gym/businesses in the area which I think is a great way to engage the team while also maintaining a healthy lifestyle." – Karolina Blaszczyk, Holiday Inn Express London Park Royal & Earl's Court
We are proud to again be recognised as a Top 30 Best Place to Work in Hospitality by The Caterer. You will be asked regularly how you are and what we can do to improve.
“Engagement is more than keeping you happy as you may not necessarily be actively engaged in the workplace. With RBH Hotels you will have a well-defined role and will make strong contributions. You will have a voice, and be listened to. Being part of an engaged team has the most powerful influence on our business and can make or break it, so it is in our interests to keep you engaged.” – Barnaby Kean, General Manager Holiday Inn Express Bridgwater
Our Executive Team are all very approachable. Just recently they all held a virtual conference dressed up as Superheroes. Dave, Susan, Andrew, Vibhu and Gregor interact with every level, making time to speak. Communicating to everyone is important, so much so we have invested in a communication platform that everyone can access.
"Communication is important to me as it allows everyone in the organisation to feel included and updated about the way our business operates and grows. It’s also important to communicate effectively to deliver our goals and targets and ultimately work as one, which is what we do here at RBH.
I enjoy working for RBH because while we are working towards a common goal, we are able to do so with individuality and freedom which allows each hotel to shine!" – Chris Tweedale, Imperial Blackpool
You need the skills to be able to do your job and to go beyond that if you are ambitious. That’s why we have, Smile, a dedicated Learning and Development portal plus award-winning management and leadership courses available to all our teams.
People are our greatest asset and our Pathways to Exceptional People promotes career development and the chance for you to be the best version of yourself. We invite you to #daretogrow and we are able to offer a range of nationally accredited apprenticeship programmes to help you develop your knowledge and skills and be the best version of yourself.
Our Pyramid programme is one of our development programmes that supports career progression in hospitality.
"I have progressed quickly in my career since joining RBH in 2007. I am a Pyramid graduate. The course enabled me to learn new skills and gain a greater knowledge of the company expectations of the role of Deputy GM. I was empowered to implement what I had learnt. My mentor guide me and he taught me a lot about myself and that I am capable of achieving more than I thought." – Vicky Scott, Holiday Inn Express Middlesbrough
RBH are proud to support the government's funded employment Kickstart scheme as part of Plan for Jobs. We are offering young people the chance to develop skills and help them move into sustained employment. We support CareerScope, the industry support hub for hospitality.
We love tech, and invest in what we believe will add value to our employees experience and to the guest, mindful that it will give a return on investment. RBH invite ideas and will let ideas develop (if they are decent ones!), and if they don't work, we learn from it.
You will have ideas, experience from life, or from previous employment, and we want to hear your views on how to transform and innovate.
"There is always scope for creativity, empathy, and freedom in an innovation culture, but these traits must also be balanced with those that are hard and honestly not so pleasant, such as discipline and personal responsibility.
However, it is not impossible to create an innovative culture, it only needs a great deal of devotion, perseverance and hard work. Happy to be part of that culture here in RBH." - Goran Minov
