The RBH Capital Team managed a c.£4m project at the Holiday Inn Express London – Limehouse. When the hotel was originally built, all public spaces were inconveniently located on the first floor. The unusual layout prompted RBH to investigate alternative ways of deploying the space to achieve an improved guest experience and more efficient hotel operations. Our team worked closely with the hotel’s owners and IHG to successfully deliver this project, which included relocating the hotel’s reception to the ground floor, therefore unlocking the opportunity to create 24 additional bedrooms on the first floor.
The scheme also introduced the more compact ‘Urban’ bedrooms, the first of its kind in the UK for IHG, demonstrating RBH’s ability to work closely with global brand partners and maximise space and asset value for owners.
