During the first Covid-19 lockdown, RBH completed a dual-brand conversion of 142 ibis budget rooms at ibis London Heathrow T5 and 155 ibis PLAZA rooms. In November 2021, the remaining ibis budget rooms were completed in November 2021 ahead of schedule. This £3.1m project also included refurbishment to the public area, replacement of internal and external signage, an external clean and redecoration to render, as well as mechanical and electrical upgrades including a brand-new kitchen.
