Inverness Airport Hotel opens its doors to guests

The much-anticipated hotel – Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport – has officially opened its doors, marking the arrival of the first Courtyard by Marriott property in Inverness.

Owned and developed by Molo Hotels, the property is operated by RBH, the UK’s leading independent hotel management company.

On Tuesday 10 March an official ribbon-cutting ceremony took place with members of the hotel team and guest of honour, Depute Provost Graham Ross. The Depute Provost and other guests were also given a tour of the brand new hotel before enjoying drinks and canapes.

The four-star hotel is situated within Inverness Airport Business Park, and boasts 130 thoughtfully designed guestrooms with black-out curtains and triple glazed windows to ensure no interruptions for the perfect night’s sleep.

The state-of-the-art lobby features live arrival and departure boards from Inverness Airport, flexible meeting and work spaces and a bar and bistro serving breakfast, snacks and evening meals. Guests looking to keep active on the go can do so in the hotel’s well-equipped fitness centre.

Ina Davies, General Manager of Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport, said:

"It’s fantastic to officially open our doors and bring the Courtyard by Marriott brand to Inverness for the first time.

Located only a three-minute walk from Inverness Airport and with superb transport links connecting guests to Inverness city centre, our location is a brilliant asset. Whether guests are travelling for business or leisure, we aim to make the experience more comfortable, more productive and more enjoyable – we cannot wait to welcome those set to stay with us’’

James Campbell, Chairman at Inverness Airport Business Park (IABP), said:

"The opening of Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport is an exciting addition to IABP and I have no doubt that the new hotel is going to be a huge success. The prospect of having hotel accommodation available onsite has been a key attraction for existing and potential occupiers at IABP and we are delighted that the development is now complete. The hotel has certainly transformed the landscape and I’m sure airport passengers and other local businesses will benefit greatly from the latest arrival at IABP.”

Andrew Robb, Chief Business Development Officer, said:

"The new Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport marks our third partnership with Molo Hotels, having worked together to launch Courtyard by Marriott Luton Airport and Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh West.

We’ve established a strong working relationship with Molo Hotels and we’re thrilled to see the hotel open its doors and welcome its first guests – the first of a number of new openings across the RBH portfolio this year.”
