RBH appoints Rob Ledson as new Operations Director
RBH Hospitality Management has appointed Rob Ledson as Operations Director to support its portfolio of 45+ hotels.
Rob joins RBH from his position as Chief Operating Officer at Legacy Hotels following a prior 10-year tenure at RBH heading up the sales team. This, in addition to roles within Whitbread, Marriott and The Principal Hotel Company amalgamates more than 25 years’ experience in the industry.
Alongside Louisa Green, Stephen Harron and Mark Dempsie, the team of Operations Directors will now offer 35 years of collective experience at RBH. Rob’s commercial-minded approach will help ensure that demand and opportunity is balanced in a continually recovering market while customer experience is prioritised through personalisation. One of the fundamental goals in this position will be to demonstrate a profitable return for hotel owners and provide support to the portfolio’s General Managers through setting ambitious, achievable standards of operation across the portfolio.
On his return to RBH Rob said:
“It’s brilliant to be re-engaging with such a tenacious team and getting the opportunity to further strengthen RBH’s operational practice and build upon valued owner relationships. One of my main passions is providing a completely personal experience, both for hotel guests and also RBH staff, owners and investors, which means incorporating new technology, procedures and above all, clear communication."
“This is an exciting time to join RBH, with new openings on the horizon as well as operational and visual refreshes at some of our existing hotels over the coming months so it’s a great honour to take on this role this year.”
Commenting on Rob’s appointment, Managing Director, Susan Bland said:
“This is a pivotal role to nurture the relationships of key stakeholders and profitably drive turnover to maintain a strong position in the competitive market. Rob offers the unique combination of experience and existing understanding of how RBH operates, but joins us with a fresh approach to challenge the status quo and we can’t wait to see the positive impact he has on the business.”
Rob rejoins RBH’s team of experts, with an average length of service of six years and 14 years amongst the executive committee, showcasing RBH’s expertise and stability within the hospitality industry.
