RBH has ranked eighth in the Caterer’s Top 30 list for Best Places to Work in Hospitality for 2022
Now in its ninth year, The Caterer’s annual celebration of employment best practice shines a spotlight on hospitality businesses that provide the best working environment for their teams, according to their employees.
RBH features in the top 30 for the second consecutive year following record high scores in the employee feedback survey. The list is determined by a combination of scores calculated from five ‘killer questions’ in addition to a series of ranking exercises answered by each employee.
Compared to the benchmark of +63 for the top 30, RBH’s overall employee net promoter score was +94 for 2022 – significantly higher than average. The company’s overall score as a result of the survey was also 94%, 11% greater than the qualifying average. Top drivers for RBH employees’ work satisfaction were respect for work/life balance, supportive, positive and inspiring leaders, and being part of a team that works well together.
Martin MacPhail, HR Director at RBH said:
"With over 80 companies entered, we are absolutely over the moon to have been recognised in such a busy industry. There is no greater recognition of a positive workplace than from the workforce itself and it’s so encouraging to know that our staff are benefitting from all the hard work that’s gone into our people initiatives over the past few years."
We are all too aware that hospitality has been an incredibly challenging industry to work in for the past two and a bit years, which makes this even more special. The scores are remarkable and to be in the top 30, let alone the top 10, among so many other brilliant hospitality businesses is very encouraging. We pride ourselves on our commitment to our people, so to be officially named as one of the best places to work is a really positive message as we drive or recruitment campaign forward.
RBH is constantly expanding and is currently recruiting for numerous roles both in head office and across the portfolio. Have a look at the opportunities to join one of hospitality’s best places to work in 2022!
