RBH Hospitality expands luxury portfolio with three Edinburgh properties
RBH Hospitality Management has been appointed by property investment and development company, Chris Stewart Group (CSG), to operate three prestigious properties in Edinburgh, expanding its presence in Scotland’s capital.
Two of the hotels will rebrand and become part of Marriott International’s hotel portfolio, marking an expansion of RBH’s presence in the luxury hotel market. The Edinburgh Grand will join The Luxury Collection, becoming the brand’s first property in Scotland and a flagship opening in the UK. The second hotel, The Old Town Chambers located on Edinburgh’s famous Royal Mile will join Marriott’s exclusive Autograph Collection. These appointments underline RBH’s valued reputation as a leading hotel operator with both properties officially onboarding under RBH’s management in July.
In addition, RBH has also been appointed to operate Abbey Strand Apartments, located steps away from the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, comprising of nine luxury open plan, one and two-bedroom serviced apartments.
These new agreements mark a key milestone for RBH, as the company continues to grow its footprint in Scotland. David Hart, CEO of RBH Hospitality Management, commented:
“Strengthening our Edinburgh portfolio with these exceptional properties feels fitting during our 25th year of hotel management. Expanding our relationship with CSGand Marriott International aligns perfectly with our strategy of operating a diverse mix of luxury, boutique and all-suite apartment hotels, further cementing our position as the leading hotel management company in the UK.”
RBH has a history of successfully operating Marriott properties, and these new hotels will represent the 9th and 10th Marriott properties under RBH’s management. These appointments strengthen RBH’s partnership with Chris Stewart Group, following a successful collaboration on AC Hotel by Marriott Glasgow, which opened in 2023, and the multi-million-pound refurbishment of the A-listed Collectors Hall at AC by Marriott Glasgow in Glasgow which is also due to launch in July.
