RBH to expand portfolio in the South-West with the opening of ibis Styles Paignton
This week sees the launch of the new-build ibis Styles Paignton in Devon, an Accor franchised hotel owned by Fragrance Group.
RBH Hospitality Management has been appointed to manage the property alongside two other Accor branded hotel openings in the past year - Mercure Paignton, located close by opened last April, shortly followed by the impressive Municipal Hotel Liverpool – an MGallery branded hotel – which opened last May.
In addition, this is the fourth Fragrance Group property to join the portfolio in the last 12 months, highlighting the success of this partnership, and the eighth overall to join the portfolio in the same period, marking an incredibly successful year for the group.
The new 121-room design-led hotel, which takes its design inspiration from the surrounding landscapes, is located in a prime position on Paignton seafront, just a five-minute drive away from Paignton station. Appealing to business and leisure travellers alike, facilities include a state-of-the-art fitness suite and spa with beauty treatment rooms, a meeting room and a stylish restaurant boasting sea views and all-day dining. A retro-themed ice-cream parlour and waffle bar is the perfect addition for those seeking traditional sweet treats by the seaside.
RBH’s CEO David Hart said:
“Our partnerships continue to be a key part of who we are as a management company. We work hard to ensure that our agile, collaborative approach aligns with that of our partners to drive a strong working relationship. On behalf of our partners, we manage a diverse portfolio and continually strive to maximise the performance and potential of each property to ensure its success.”
Martin Rogers added on behalf of Fragrance Group:
“This new opening takes the number of Fragrance hotels in the UK operated by RBH to 11 and further emphasises the commitment of Fragrance to hospitality businesses in the UK.”
